Encounter only (without hotel): $129

Full encounter with hotel: $449 double occupancy

Our base for the weekend is Chabad of Salt Lake City, UT.

We have secured a special rate for the Encounter at the Springhill Suites Sugarhouse

To get the special rate, book with the hotel directly and ask for a 'Chabad' room. The rate will be $169 a night for our group.

The rooms are limited and will be assigned based on a first-come, first-serve basis.

We recommend you book soon, as rooms tend to fill up quickly.

Ski Logistics:

Lift Tickets:

• Encounter does not provide lift tickets but assists with transportation.

EPIC Pass Holders:

• Ski at Park City Mountain Resort with facilitated bus transportation.
• Non-EPIC pass holders can purchase advance lift tickets, with transportation assistance.

IKON Pass Holders:

• Ski at Alta, Snowbird, Brighton, and Solitude in Cottonwood Canyons.
• And possibly Deer Valley (Park City) 

Non-Pass Holders:

• Reserve lift tickets IN ADVANCE at your preferred resort.

Transportation:

• UTA (Utah Transportation Authority) buses/shuttles available to both Cottonwood Canyons.
• Encounter facilitates transport to the 8:45 Sunday bus, with return pickup to the hotel or airport.

Rentals:

• Local rental shop recommendations will be provided; advance booking recommended.

What to Expect at the Encounter:

The program begins with happy hour at 5:30 pm

The program ends Sunday evening.

Break the ice. Head out early to the slopes to be back for Candle lighting and Happy hour! Meet and connect with YJP's from across the region. Join a melodious Shabbat service. Indulge in an intimate Shabbat dinner with the local community. Participate in lively, thought-provoking discussions deep into the night.

Experience an enchanting Shabbat with spirited services, incredible food, quality time with friends, and reflective discussion in a fascinating Q&A on myriad topics to stimulate your mind and invigorate your soul.

Post Shabbat Havdalah concert with the Jewish music superstar Benny Friedman on his "Am Yisrael Chai tour!"
